01/25 (Wednesday)
1. We weight water and salt separately. Have students to write down their weight and add them up. Then the teacher put salt into water. Salt disappear (as we can't see it anymore). And then we weight the water again. The water gain weight and the weight is the total of salt and water we added up before. Then every students got a chance to taste the water. We know salt is in the water even though you can't see it but you can taste it.
2. We put a cotton on the scale. The scale shows 0 as it is too light. Then I put the cotton into water and get it out and weight it again. It gains some weight. Then students know cotton absorb water unlike salt which dissolves in the water.
3. Then we watch a video about a donkey carry salt and cotton in different day crossing a river. Video link: https://youtu.be/0hElnVVEedU https://youtu.be/0hElnVVEedU
- Half day!
- 2nd grade music from 11:30 to 12:00 pm.
- Unit 11 book 1 reading (self)
- Activity (Listening): The teacher describe an item (color, animal or not, how many legs...), and students drew whatever the teacher say and guess what it is.
