Monday: 1. Chinese New Year celebration event 5-7 pm at gym. 2. Write a note or tell your teacher how much you appreciate her/him. 3. Chinese Morning announcement: Hunter and Taigen from Red class.
Tuesday: 1. Math topic 9 test in English. 2. Bring your teacher her/his favorite snack.
Wednesday: Bring your teacher her/his favorite drink.
Thursday: Bring your teacher her/his favorite flower/plant.
Friday: Others: 1. Chinese writing test. 2. Share the love, give 5 compliments today.
1. Good news! Mrs. Hansen has a student teacher comes to her classroom helping and learning from her. Her name is Marai Martinez. Let’s welcome her. She will be here with our students February and March.
2. Do you have any laptop/computer that is still usable, but you are not using it anymore? Our kids can use them in my classroom for flash games I created. Clean your laptop record before taking it to me or I can help on cleaning all your record in the laptop.
3. PTA chocolate fundraiser Feb. 4-15.
4. Parent Teacher Conference date 2/20 and 2/21. We will do “Student Lead Stations” method. There will be 5 stations and 5 minutes each station, so please plan for at least 25 minute for the conference. More details will come home soon.

Chinese homework stroke Order, definition, and handwriting practice
|
Please follow the stroke order while your kid is writing Chinese homework. Click on each word for stroke order and other information about the character. To go to the handwriting practice function, please click on each character below, and it will open a new window. Then click on the brush under the word, then you will be able to practice handwriting the character(see the videos above for direction). I really love this function and hope our kids can use it.
