What Mrs. Huang wants to say to you:
1. Please note that we are still having test every Friday. The test is 100% the same as Thursday's homework. I found that few students didn't finish their Thursday's homework. I have answer keys at lower page of Thursday's homework. If your kid still don't know the correct answers, you can visit our class website and download the Thursday homework with answers. I don't print the one with answers to students but if you feel that your kid needs it, please let me know and I'll print it for him/her every Thursday. But please make sure your kid finish Thursday's homework (weekly test practice) first before checking answers. Don't let your kid just copy answers with the answer sheet. Thanks!

Chinese homework stroke Order, definition, and handwriting practice
Please follow the stroke order while your kid is writing Chinese homework. Click on each word for stroke order and other information about the character. To go to the handwriting practice function, please click on each character below, and it will open a new window. Then click on the brush under the word, then you will be able to practice handwriting the character. I really love this function and hope our kids can use it.

What students have done in Chinese class this week:
04/04
- Fire drill at 10 am.
- Calendar time: speaking and writing: students say today, yesterday, the day before yesterday, and the day after tomorrow's date and day. And then they write down on their small white board.
- Listening & Writing: students listen to the listening game and then write down the correct answer. (Not just choose the right answer but to write down the answer. It's actually easy for most students but it's a writing practice in different situation.)
- Speaking and listening: Play "I am the super star" game. Students separate into 2 groups. One student in each group was chosen to be the first super star. Students need to ask the super star questions and the super star needs to answer questions. The super star can pick the next super star after few minutes.
- Both class completed topic 12-6.
- Activity: Students use shapes to make a new subject. Then write down what shapes they've used.
