Week 34 (04/25 - 04/29)
Who's in Mrs. Huang's classroom this week: Morning BLUE Class; Afternoon RED Class.
What Mrs. Huang wants to say to you:
1. Remember that students are having YCT level 2 mock test AND weekly test on every Friday. As we don't have time in class to practice and review weekly test, I need your help to assist your child's Thursday homework. The Thursday's Chinese homework is the same as Friday's weekly test, so please have your kid do Thursday's homework as a test for themselves and then match answers at the lower page. Please do NOT have your kid just copying the answer from lower page which won't help them much on Friday's weekly test.
2. Both YCT mock test 2 and weekly test sheets will be sent home on Monday. I don't ask parents to sign this time but please do ask your students to show you his/her test sheets for scores. The "L" I wrote on test sheets means "listening" and "R" means "reading" (No, they didn't mean left and right). I noticed that some students throw them away. That was why I ask you all to sign last week. Just in case you didn't know, the YCT passing score is 120 (Listening + Reading)
3. Below are score record for last Friday's YCT mock test. We are improving (although not meet my expectation yet). ^_^

Chinese homework stroke Order, definition, and handwriting practice
Please follow the stroke order while your kid is writing Chinese homework. Click on each word for stroke order and other information about the character. To go to the handwriting practice function, please click on each character below, and it will open a new window. Then click on the brush under the word, then you will be able to practice handwriting the character. I really love this function and hope our kids can use it.
