What Mrs. Huang wants to say to you:
1. I still need volunteers coming to my room sorting math worksheets. If I can get 2 volunteers to help half hour to one hour a day, then all will be done in 2 days.
2. I am having a Chinese DLI teacher training on Sept. 14th. We will have a guest teacher and a Chinese-speaking volunteer that day.
3. As always, students have a Chinese test on Friday, 09/16. Chinese test will be exactly the same as Thursday's homework. Make sure you help your kid practice them at home.
4. We will have our students doing Chinese Announcement to the entire school in the morning starting this Monday (09/12). The first two students who will do the Chinese announcement are Dominque and Bella from Blue class. I will need these two students arriving at class few minutes before school starts so we can do a little practice.
Just so you know that all our students will have chances to do the Chinese announcement during the school year unless they choose to not do it.

Chinese homework stroke Order, definition, and handwriting practice
Please follow the stroke order while your kid is writing Chinese homework. Click on each word for stroke order and other information about the character. 09/13 (Tuesday)
- Encore (PE/Library/Computer/Art rotation) from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
- Reading: book 3-2 男生跟女生是朋友。 (boys and girls are friends.)
- Activity: Weekly vocabulary listening and recognizing: Students will need to listen to the teacher's sentence and find the word. Girls need to find the word on the pink sheet and boys find it on the blue sheet (see the video below).
- Both class completed topic 2-2 (double).
- Topic "double" practice: The teacher write down math questions on the board and students write down answers on their small white board. Once they've done, they will need to raise their hands without speaking and the teacher will walk to him/her and check all answers. If he/she got all right, the student gets a sticker as a reward (see the video below).
