10/21 update: we have a news paper lady came and took pictures this morning in our Red class, so be ready to possibly see our kids in the news paper soon. ^_^

Just so you know that I will have a professional training on Tuesday (10/20) afternoon, so we will have a Chinese substitute that afternoon.
As always, I strongly suggest that our students complete their Chinese homework with stroke orders. The importance of stroke order is that it helps our students to remember the character by their hand muscle. It functions similar with the way you type which you don’t remember which finger triggers which letter but you can type it fast without thinking while your fingers are on the key board. This is the reason why I really want our students to use the stroke order function in our website.
Again, please utilize the function of handwriting practice which many parents love it. Our students can use mouse to “write” the word in stroke order. If the student didn’t write it in the right order, the stroke won’t show up. And it will give the student a hint if he/she wrote 3 times in wrong stroke order. To go to the function, please go to our class website first. And then click on the character under “Homework download” and it will open a new window. Then click on the brush under the word, then you will be able to practice handwriting the character.

Students need to look at numbers chart in Chinese in order to mark color on the 1 to 100 number sheet to complete the pumpkin looking sheet. (See pictures below). It's a great way for students to get familiar with number 1 to 100 in Chinese while having fun.
