Week 4 (09/10-09/14)
Who's in Mrs. Huang's classroom this week: Morning BLUE Class; Afternoon RED Class.
What Mrs. Huang wants to say to you:
Monday: Chinese morning announcement begins: I will randomly pick two students from my morning class each week to do the announcement. The first week will be Ian and Akala in Blue class. Please make sure they arrive my classroom at 8:55 am.
Tuesday: Picture day: All students will take their pictures.
Thursday: Encore rotation starts (12:30 to 2:30 pm): these includes library, computer, PE, and art. Please note that if you haven’t registered your kid in, your kid will not be able to participant Encore rotation activities. Please contact office if you haven’t registered your kid yet.
Friday: 1. Math topic 1 test. 2. Chinese weekly writing test.
Others:
1. I still need parent volunteers to come and help sorting math worksheets. We have total of 15 topics and we have completed 2 topics as of Friday.
2. Week 3 Friday reading help video here: https://youtu.be/7zET_F2DOyw (you can also find this video in our class website, too.)
3. Daily Chinese writing stroke order, definition, hand writing practice, homework download, class videos and pictures here: http://2ndchinesedli.weebly.com/week-3-0904-ndash-0907.html
4. Please remind your kid to look at me while I am teaching. It’s nearly impossible for our kids to understand me speaking in another language if they don’t look at me. I care this point a lot so I think it would be good for our parents to remind their kids at home as well. Thanks.
