Wednesday: Practice your addition and subtraction math fact
Thursday: 2nd grade Halloween party from 2:30 to 3:30 pm; Rainforest Van program in the morning for 2nd grade DLI students.
Friday: Chinese writing test (practice on Thursday’s homework)
Others:
1. Morning Chinese announcement will be 2 students from Red class (randomly pick)
2. We will have a school-wide Northlake PTA sponsored Halloween Dance event at the gym from 6 pm to 8 pm on Monday, October 28th. Dinner will be provided from 6:15 to 7 pm while supplies last.
3. We also have a 2nd-grade rotation Halloween party from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm on Thursday, October 31st. Please expect a note to send home on Monday (10/28) regarding how you can help the party.
4. Once every few years, we will have a Rainforest Van program coming to our school giving all our 2nd-grade students an unforgettable experience and lesson. The red class will go to the program from 9:25 to 10:20 am and the Blue class will go from 10:25 to 11:20 am. Be sure you have a discussion with your kid about what they have learned from the program after school that day. J

Please follow the stroke order while your kid is writing Chinese homework. Click on each word for stroke order and other information about the character. To go to the handwriting practice function, please click on each character below, and it will open a new window. Then click on the brush under the word, then you will be able to practice handwriting the character(see the videos above for direction). I really love this function and hope our kids can use it.
