Week 9 (10/15-10/19)
What Mrs. Huang wants to say to you:
Dear parents:
This is Red Ribbon Week.
Monday: Wear Red; Practice your child’s addition math fact
Tuesday: Wear Miss-matched clothes; Flu clinic
Wednesday: Dress like twins; Practice your child’s addition math fact
Thursday: Fall break; no school
Friday: Fall break; no school
Others:
1. Starting this week, our 2nd grade DLI students will do the morning Chinese announcement to the whole school. I will randomly pick two students in the morning to do the announcement.
2. Log in to your child’s Mandarin Matrix (MMX) online account for leaning and fun here: https://www.mandarinmatrix.com/ Let me know if you don’t have your child’s log in information.
3. Quizizz games for this week are Unit 2-2. Please also review games of Unit 2-1, 1-1, 1-2 and 1-3.

Unit 1-2: join.quizizz.com?gc=873182

4. It is very important for you, as parents, to assist your child’s math at home. Since I teach math in Chinese, so it is significant for parents to check your child’s math understanding every day by assisting their math daily homework. Just simply sit with them and read the questions to your child is most likely good enough for them.
5. Week 8 Friday reading help video here: https://youtu.be/EZOcpaBBhCY
6. Daily Chinese writing stroke order, definition, handwriting practice, homework download, class videos, and pictures here:
