1. Our first term math-fact Knighting will be Friday, Nov. 22, 2019. It will be hold at the gym at 11:50 am. It will take for about 10-15 minutes. Note will be sent home Monday, Nov. 11. If your kid didn’t get Knighting this time, you are still welcome to come so your kid get encouraged for the next term. I won’t suggest it but if you would like to check your kid out after the Knighting, feel free to do so.
2. We will switch to subtraction for our math fact for the 2nd term. Students will need to get 70 % on average to get Knighting for 2nd term. And just a head up that 3rd and 4th term will be mixed addition and subtraction math fact with 80% correction to be Knighted.
3. Did you know that all Northlake kids eat their breakfast and lunch for free this year? If you didn’t know, now you know! ^_^

Please follow the stroke order while your kid is writing Chinese homework. Click on each word for stroke order and other information about the character. To go to the handwriting practice function, please click on each character below, and it will open a new window. Then click on the brush under the word, then you will be able to practice handwriting the character(see the videos above for direction). I really love this function and hope our kids can use it.
